Union members are often called on for direct action. In Minnesota, union peacekeepers supported actions like the January 23 Day of Truth and Freedom, sporting bright vests and helping keep the massive crowds of protestors safe.

The AFL-CIO is offering virtual peacekeeper trainings for union members in February, March, or April. Union peacekeepers can play a much-needed role in direct actions and in supporting non-violent demonstrations.
