In 2026, the Thurston-Lewis-Mason CLC's South Sound Labor School and the WA Labor Education and Research Center (WA LERC) will host a series of Saturday education programs for union activists in Olympia at Evergreen State College

Each school will have one main plenary and 3 interactive workshops, where union members will convene to build their skills and learn from one another. The tentative schedule for the Spring School (April 25, 2026) workshops is:

Running Effective New Employee Orientations

Inter-union community and coalition building strategies

Block 3:

Defending Against Attacks on Civil Liberties and Immigrant Workers

Registration costs: $20 for each day school.  Your union may be able to sponsor your registration.
