Stand with our SEIU 1199 NW sibling, Tacko Seck!
Tacko Seck is a mother and a dedicated healthcare worker who served her community as a Patient Sitter at Swedish Edmonds. Through her work, Tacko provided compassionate support and care to patients and families during some of their most vulnerable moments. She is known by her coworkers as a caring, hardworking, and valued member of the healthcare team.
She was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), separating her from her family and community. Her coworkers, union members, and community allies are standing together to demand her release and to support Tacko and her family during this difficult time.
We are joining SEIU 1199 NW in calling for Tacko to be reunited with her family and returned to the community that she has cared for.
Please RSVP to Ligayad@seiu1199nw.org if you're planning to attend so SEIU 1199 NW knows who from our labor community will be attending.
