**This workshop series has been postponed until 2025**
Young Workers Unite Union Leadership School is a training series designed by The WA Labor Center, Thurston-Lewis-Mason County Central Labor Council, The WA State Labor Council, and Young and Emerging Labor Leaders (YELL). This series is our response to the great need for leadership training for the next generation of labor leaders.
Young Workers Unite is designed for workers 35 years old and younger in the Thurston-Lewis-Mason County area to learn from one another, share experiences between industries and perspectives about the struggles young workers face as well as build the leadership bench for our labor movement.
Ideal participants are union members 35 and under with some experience in labor, either as an active member, a steward, or other official or unofficial leadership position, looking to deepen their skills and meet like-minded labor activists throughout the state. These classes are free of charge.
One main goal of this series is to foster new relationships between union activists and organizers in the area, so attendance in all four part of the series is highly encouraged.
