How do we talk to members and coworkers who think differently than us about politics, racial and gender justice, union membership, or other issues?

Would you like to be a better leader in your workplace and a voice for change?

The Thurston – Lewis – Mason Central Labor Council, Twin Harbors Labor Council and the Washington State Labor Council are proud to present a virtual workshop on June 4 from 9:00 – 11:00 am PST called Bridging the Divide: Tools for Building Union Solidarity

This participatory workshop is designed to give you practical tools for building union solidarity in your workplace, and help you to

  •          Understanding the impact of racism
  •          Talk about the importance of undoing racism in the workplace
  •          Connect with other union members in our region on topics related to:
    •    Ending harassment at work
    •    The history of racism as a tool to divide the working class
    •    Building solidarity across race and ethnicity
